Every week there’s a new wellness trend, product, routine, or “rule” telling us what we should be doing.

One day we’re putting protein in everything, the next we’re onto gut health, supplements, incorporating low-impact workouts, or it’s full-fat dairy making a comeback. With so much conflicting information, it’s hard to know what’s trustworthy, relevant, and worth implementing into your life.

We spent years trying it all. After routines that left us exhausted, stalled our progress, or simply didn't fit our lives, we realized that most advice out there misses the most basic truth: no two people are the same.

We started seeing progress when we paid closer attention to our own bodies, schedules, preferences, and lives.

Basically, we became our own integration layer, noticing patterns, making connections, and adjusting our routines around what we were actually experiencing.

We were finally feeling confident in our routine, but we were spending more time planning our workouts than actually doing them. Finding what worked, and then figuring out how to stick with it, had become way more complicated than it needed to be.

That became the foundation for Oia.

We believe wellness should adapt to the individual, not push everyone toward the same routines. Our goal is to make it easier to understand what works for you, put it into practice, and feel confident in the choices you’re making without spending years figuring it all out on your own.

We’re starting with this newsletter to break down the latest in wellness with research, expert perspectives, and our own experiences. Expect practical ways to actually implement the advice you see every day into practice, along with the workouts, hobbies, books, and other things we’re into.
